MIDDLE SCHOOL

Middle School at Riley is a time where our early adolescent students are beginning to practice self-advocacy, executive function, and academic skills, while building upon the social-emotional and academic learning they’ve brought with them from our Lower School program.

Math, English, science, and social Studies are front and center to our Middle Schoolers’ daily schedule, along with theater, music, farm & garden, and pottery/ceramics. Middle School students spend an increasing amount of time reading, researching, and writing as they build upon their learning skills. Our faculty collaborate to facilitate interdisciplinary connections for our students, ensuring that they gain both the hard skills needed for each discipline and also the ability to apply them in the real world.
